About the Scheme
The University of Washington’s Centre for Experiential Learning & Diversity offers the Mary Gates Research Scholarship 2026. The scholarship encourages undergraduate students to pursue original research under the guidance of faculty mentors. It aims to enhance students’ research skills, promote academic engagement, and build confidence in independent inquiry. The selected student will receive an award of up to USD 5,000.

Eligibility Criteria
• To be eligible, an applicant must:- • be enrolled as an undergraduate student at the University of Washington – Seattle, Bothell, or Tacoma campus • plan to continue their research for at least two more quarters after receiving the award • demonstrate academic curiosity, initiative, and commitment to personal and intellectual growth.
