About the Scheme
Puducherry offers various scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). These scholarships are available to students from different categories, including those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). Selected candidates will receive financial assistance to pursue education at pre-matric and post-matric level.

• To be eligible, an applicant must:- • be a domicile of Puducherry for not less than 5 years • be a female student • belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category • be studying in Classes 1 to 5 at a recognised institution of the state • have an annual family income of not more than ₹24,000
