About the Scheme

Across India, drivers of heavy and light commercial road transport vehicles for carrying goods and large passenger transport vehicles like buses spend long hours on the road, working tirelessly to build a better future for their families. However, financial constraints often become a barrier to their daughters' educational aspirations. To help bridge this gap, the SML Mahindra Scholarship Program 2026–27, an initiative by SML Mahindra Limited, aims to provide financial assistance to deserving and meritorious girl students, empowering them to continue their education with confidence and pursue their academic goals. The program offers support through two dedicated scholarship categories: SML Saarthi Scholarship 2026–27 and SML Unnati Scholarship 2026–27, designed to reduce financial barriers and encourage girl students to pursue higher secondary and higher education in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). SML Saarthi Scholarship 2026-27 The SML Saarthi Scholarship 2026-27 aims to support meritorious girl students studying in Classes 11 and 12 (any stream). The scholarship is designed to help daughters of drivers of heavy and light commercial road transport vehicles for carrying goods, and large passenger transport vehicles like buses, continue their higher secondary education without financial constraints. SML Unnati Scholarship 2026-27 The SML Unnati Scholarship 2026-27 aims to support meritorious girl students pursuing undergraduate degree, diploma, or polytechnic programs in any academic year in STEM and core engineering disciplines. The scholarship aims to encourage greater participation of women in technical, industrial, and manufacturing-related fields.
