About the Scheme
The Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Transgender Scholarship Program 2026-27 is a CSR initiative of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited, implemented through its Implementation Partner, Buddy4Study. It aims to support talented and deserving transgender students across India. The scholarship is open to students enrolled in Classes 9–12 or pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies at recognised government or private open schools and universities. Selected candidates will receive a one-time scholarship of up to INR 40,000 to support their academic journey.

Eligibility Criteria
• Open to pan-India transgender students pursuing secondary, senior secondary, or undergraduate/postgraduate studies through any government/private open school or open university. • A minimum score of 35% in Class 10 and/or Class 12 is required. • The applicants' parental income from all sources must not exceed INR 10,00,000 per year. • Candidates who are children of employees of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited or Buddy4Study are ineligible.
Admissions & Course Track
Post-Matric (Class 11–12), Pre-Matric (Secondary) and Undergraduate students in Class 10, 12 studying Business & Management.
Nationality
Open to applicants of any nationality.
Annual Family Income Threshold
Gross annual family income must not exceed ₹10,00,000 (₹10 lakh) per annum.
Academic Standing
Minimum 35% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
